The project that we will discuss here today is
capable of detecting the cell phone from a half meter. So it can be used to prevent use of mobile phones in examination halls, confidential rooms, etc. It is also useful for detecting the use of mobile phone for spying and unauthorized video transmission. The circuit can detect both the incoming and outgoing calls, SMS and
video transmission even if the mobile phone is kept in the silent mode.
The moment the bug detects RF transmission signal from an activated
mobile phone, it starts sounding a beep alarm and the LED blinks. The
alarm continues until the signal transmission ceases.

1.5 - 35 Volt DC Regulated Power Supply
Here is the circuit diagram of
regulated power supply. It is a small power supply that provides a
regulated voltage, adjustable between 1.5 and 35 volts at 1 ampere. This
circuit is ready to use, you just need to add a suitable transformer.
This circuit is thermal overload protected because the current limiter
and thermal overload protection are included in the IC.

Gas Leakage Alarm using IC 555
In todays time everyone uses LPG gas at homes. Since the LPG is heavier than air so it tends to settle down along the floors and may results in dangerous fire or even a blast.
So in this project we will learn how to make a LPG Gas Leakage Alarm using IC555.

Bicyle Light: Cycle Dynamo
With this circuit built, boxed up and installed in your
bicycle, you can look forward to safely riding your cool bicycle at
night. The circuit ensures that the bicycle lights remain ‘on’ for a
little while after the bicycle has come to a standstill.
The circuit is 6V, 3W dynamo compatible and its working is very simple and straightforward. When the bicycle dynamo is idle, it connects the light source to the reservoir battery pack until the dynamo starts generating voltage again. The circuit also prevents the light source against high power when the dynamo is running, and uses the available surplus power to recharge the battery pack.

Download various 4 bit LCD interface libraries
Description | In our engineering projects we usually use microcontroller. To interface the LCD we need a set of libraries which help us to set some basic routines for interface (this is for 4 bit interface). so here in this post we are providing you some set of that libraries for interfacing. All the best !! |

Single Phase AC Motor Speed Controller (with project report)
Everyone wants to control real world devices through microcontroller but we all wonders, how this can be done? So Here is another sensational project from our known friend Nasim Majoka (Majoka) who also our forum moderator. Single Phase AC Motor Speed Controller project will explain you what exactly is needed to make control a real world device using our well known 8051 microcontroller. In this project user can use switches to controll speed of AC motor and LED display is provided to show the current speed. This project also comes with a Windows application written in Visual Basic from where you can control speed of motor. |

Water Level Indicator with alarm using IC CD4066
What is water level indicator: Water level indicator is a device which is used to measure the level of water or any other conductive liquid in a container. By following a very simple circuit this device can be implemented . Along with indicating the water level it will also give you a alarm when the tank becomes full.
Water level Controller Circuit
Description.
A simple but very reliable and effective water level controller circuit diagram is shown here. The circuit uses 6 transistors, 1 NE555 timer IC, a relay and few passive components. The circuit is completely automatic which starts the pump motor when the water level in the over head tank goes below a preset level and switches OFF the pump when the water level in the over head tank goes above the full level.
Simple Combination lock Project with keypad and LCD using pic16f628A
A Brief Description: This project is written in C language. The basic user lock is of 2 Digits. The input is taken from a 4x3 Keypad (please see the schematic for more information) and Display the user input on a 2x16 LCD. A pin is assigned as output for activating and deactivating the lock. For demonstration I have connected an LED to that pin. |
LCD interfacing with Microcontrollers tutorial - 4-bit Mode

Introduction
Till now whatever we discussed in the previous part of ths LCD tutorial, we were dealing with 8-bit mode. Now we are going to learn how to use LCD in 4-bit mode. There are many reasons why sometime we prefer to use LCD in 4-bit mode instead of 8-bit. One basic reason is lesser number of pins are needed to interface LCD.

8051 Time delay/Timer routine calculator
It's been a long time I have been developing things for 8051/52 core family and got always stuck with the same old thing. The timer calculations. So I decided to write a small Calculator to do the job for me. It is very basic but hopefully solve most of day to day needs. |

Digital Lock Using AT89C2051 with LCD and Keypad - Assembly
![]() Digital Lock Using AT89C2051 with LCD and Keypad - Assembly A Brief Description: This project is a rewrite of previously made project "Digital Code Lock using keypad and LCD" I got many requests from student's side who want this project in Assembly language. So i spent some time making this project. You will find working of this project same as that of original project. Nothing has been changed as such. |
Electronic Voting machine with Managed Control Unit (Project Report Included)
![]() Introduction: EVM is capable of saving considerable printing stationery and transport of large volumes of electoral material. It is easy to transport, store, and maintain. It completely rules out the chance of invalid votes. Its use results in reduction of polling time, resulting in fewer problems in electoral preparations, law and order, candidates' expenditure, etc. and easy and accurate counting without any mischief at the counting centre. It is also eco friendly. |
