Many a times we need to expand our template while doing some editing. Earlier there was a option in blogger to expand the template to excess the complete code to do required editing . But in new blogger look there is no as it option to expand widgets. So a question comes in our mind "How to use Expand Widget option in new template."
So we are going to tell you how to see expanded code for a gadget/widget
1. One way is to find the Gadget ID (gadget whose code you want to expand ) .
2. Now open the template for editing and find the reference ID (using cntrl + F feature ) or by "Jump to widget" feature which is given in new blogger template edit page.
3. Expand the code by clicking on the fold mark given on the left side
By clicking the fold mark it will expand the code now you will make the required changes in your code .
To collapse the same code again click on the fold mark (make it horizontal).
So we are going to tell you how to see expanded code for a gadget/widget

How to find Gadget ID:
Add gadget in its usual way. After saving it go to edit gadget and you will see a gadget ID in the address bar like Text1 , HTML1, Attribute1 etc.
3. Expand the code by clicking on the fold mark given on the left side
By clicking the fold mark it will expand the code now you will make the required changes in your code .
To collapse the same code again click on the fold mark (make it horizontal).
Example: Lets assume that you want to find the code <data:post.body/>
for this use "jump to widget" option and click on Attribute1. In this way code of attribute1 will expands and now you can find the above code by using browser search option (cntrl + F).
