Use Google as Proxy Server to Access Blocked Sites at Your Workplace

In many a cases almost 90% sites are blocked in our office internet connections . Many proxy sites are available online which can help you to access blocked sites. But there are also some google services which can help you to open blocked web page. Actually when you open a page via google server the whole webpage is firstly downloaded to the google server and then it is served to you. 

Here is a list of some google services that can be used for this.

1. Google Translator: Google translator is one of the very good tool to access blocked sites. 

How to use Google Translator to access blocked sites:  To access blocked sites by Google translator you need to go to google translator page and add the webpage link in text area. Set the destination language to the desire language in which you want to read it and the source language to any language other than destination language.

For an example if you want to access a webpage written in English set the source language to any other language (let set it to Hindi (hi) ) and select desination language as english (en) and translate it. Example

2. Use Google Modules as a Proxy: Google modules is a google service which is used to host gadgets that are available in google homepage. But the advantage of the Google module is it is among the selected proxy servers which allows you to download files also like .mp4 , .pdf etc.  Example

3. Google Mobilizer as Proxy: This service can be access only via google country special pages (like google.co.in) as google has discontinued it from its main service ie from google.com . 

Use following link to access bloced site by using google mobilizer. Example

http://www.google.co.in/gwt/x?u=http://www.example.com/

The webpage will opened as a simple text page as it can't load CSS presentations. Good for reading heavy web pages have a lot of CSS codes.
