Design and quality of built :

Sony tried a very new square design for their Xperia S as the smartphone has all the four sides complete flat. The phone can easily stand on all the four sides .Its very sustainable in hand and giving a feel and impression to the Samsung Galaxy S2 . Although it is a little bit heavy with a addition of 144g to Galaxy S2 but a slab on the front side made up of glass with a transparent strip makes it a posh sony toy rather than a smartphone.

It is made up of plastic body with buttons fixed below the lower end of screen making it perfect balanced in hand.
It comes with fantastic 4.3" capacitive touch screen with Sony's Bravia HD technology.

Features
A 12 MP camera is the most noticeable feature that rise it above than just a phone. Camera has the Sony Exmor R sensor and is capable of making fully HD video. The 12 MP camera with LED flash and famous sony logo give it a great rear look.

 The 1080p full HD video capture with continuous autofocus and a 30fps rate. The front camera is a 1.3 MP camera and it also does 720p HD video.
Besides the 12MP camera it does not full fill the expectations of people about camera. Although videos are HD but a little bit choppy also. The LED flashes many times before the image click that seems to be annoying.

Speakers:
The in built speakers are of good quality offering a very good quality sound. It comes with a 3.5mm jack and power/unlock button on the top side.

Battery life:
The only major issue in this phone that we find is battery life. You can't use it more than a day without charging again. And the worse thing is it goes off without giving you any warning. Sony really need to work on this.
