Nokia cuts price of LUMNIA 900 in USA from $99 to $49

To win back the market share the Giant phone manufacturer NOKIA has reduces the price of its flagship phone NOKIA LUMNIA 900 to almost half in USA. The actual price was set to $99 at the time of launching of this phone but after seeing not so much public interest towards this phone, NOKIA has taken this step by reducing the price to half that is $49.
This touchscreen phone is sold via US telecoms carrier AT&T and was went on sale in April 2012.

After the introduction of Samsung in this field nokia is suffering from spontaneous decrease in market share.
The OS Android launched by google plays a great role for making this condition of nokia. Many major mobile manufacturer like HTC, SAMSUNG starts using the android OS just after its inception.

Nokia has also announced that the reduced price version of the phone will not be capable run the forthcoming phone versions of Microsoft's Window OS.
There is no statement made by nokia that whether this reduction will be applied outside USA or not.

From the inception of the nokia it was at number one in handset sale. But in 2012 it was first knocked down by the giant samsung to second place. Now all we have to see is upto what extend nokia will get success in again getting the market share in mobile phone field.
